Don’t Worry It’ll All Be Ok..or maybe not

Quote from The Matrix 1999 – Agent Smith talking to Morpheus

I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. …

It is within the nature of the human to be a consumer.. Not just in terms of food and resources but of time and attention of others…

As we gradually develop in childhood away from playing and interacting with the world as it really is while being emotionally open to all things…we gradually transition towards this learned idea of something called “me” in our imagination, this identity model…the thing we’re taughtin todays world as the ‘real’ me but which increasingly removes our ability to interact with the world naturally as we did when we were young and open and just being..

Its in this mode that we are taught we are supposed to function, not as who we are but who we and others think we are; that we gradually confuse this abstract identity model with the reality of who we have been created to be..

This ego model is the consumer, as all of its measures of success and achievment are external. Its validation comes from others. It needs applause, success, attention ( often confused with love ) ownership of objects and even people, and acceptance into groups…

( Its often even confused with being your intelligence and ability to discriminate which it is not.. )

Unlike before it was developed, a time when the child would simply be emotionally open and freely express pain and pleasure, the ego model “me” doesnt do that… It clings to pleasure and tries to ignore pain…

As the unreleased pain gradually stores , it eventally becomes a mountain who’s peak constantly pokes through into our daily consciousness…

So we have our mountain and our inability to deal with pain except through delusional ego constructs like “its HIS loss”, “its not your fault”, “things will be fine”…
Did we ever think any of this stuff would release pain? no it doesn’t its what i call ‘constructive denial’ wrapped up as emotional support…

The truth is that the pain mountain just got added to not subracted from…

Eventually we become more and more addicted to the “feel good” stuff because of our every growing pain mountain… And yes most people have some level of addiction… The most dangerous, common and addictive drug of all ?

Reassurance…

Reassurance is a mental construct that something, usually something or some time passing – all outside of ourselves, is the answer to our happiness.. It is not in the moment and it is not generally empowering…

I hear the screams of “thats not spiritual”… but think of this… Anything that tells anyone that happines comes from something outside of self is furthering this journey away from spiritual oneness… Empowerment is a gzillion times more powerful than sympathy..

When what we should be offering is acceptance and release….but how many do, or even know how to offer or achieve that ? In the world where ego is king its more usual to use ego constructs auch as reassurance and tell ourselves its the right thing to do….

Yet anything that journeys us into and through the pain and into real self, the self that the universe created, is helping you become who you are made to be…. and assuring your happiness..

And so often the thing we become addicted to can be in the guise of something “spiritual”… yet maybe its quite the opposite….. its reassurance furthering attachment to the person, the job, the future…

All of us have been in the place where we want and need, often at levels that suprise us… All of us can see that need and would often like to be without it, yet we justify it as “well dont i deserve a __________ “( insert word of choice here ), relationship, kids, promotion etc etc etc..

For instance I watch with wonder at the proliferation of the law of attraction stuff as some people cling to it as God’s Happiness ATM… It will indeed be one of the great phenomenon of spiritual growth in the 21st century… but not through its ability to allow people to manifest what they want, simply through showing some that trying to find fulfillment or alleviate emptiness through manifesting outside of self isnt the work of something spiritual or positive…in fact quite the opposite. In others it will purposely allow people to manifest what they want, to show them the price they will pay for that….

Either way many more will end up on the path of quickly realizing that the answers to fulfillmnt are inside not outside…and thus more will find their path.. For those “spiritual” people who encourage satiation under the name of spirituality shame on you..

For anyone who understands the reality of the laws of interaction of energy, they realize that this phenomenon is nothing new but that it comes not from need but from acceptance and inner processing and a lot of hard work..and has a duality of giving and receiving…

Theres not even a lack of books and material on how to take the inner journey nowadays but there are more techniques every day and even those make you need something, be it a CD, a belief, a gong, God knows i always joke that somewhere some is gonna make one that needs you to wear a cabbage on the head while meditating…

The truth however is simple and beautiful and yet at the same time becoming more and more ellusive as the cult of satiation grows stronger…

That truth, is that the power you hold within you as a creation of the universe is awesome.. The energy system can and does tear people from this learned way we call the ego state or sometimes “the need feed”….

As more popular spiritual practises validate need and satiation, its not the wisdom that we can be happy that is a commodity, it never has been.

For example MR Tolle’s work is good, as was The Celestine Phrophecy, as will the next work most of which are based upon the same principles that Buddhismhas been expounding for centuries…

BUT does this awaken more people to their potential.. conceptually yes, nearly everyone “gets it” ( the ego construct of mentally absorbing the concept ) but in actuality very few can actually achieve it…..

Whats been missing in this picture and is becoming more valuable every day is training training in techniques to achieve this ripping away from how we are, to go back to who we are..to find happiness from what we have and have always had by virtue of being creation of the universe….

Yet miracles happen every day. Every day someone “crosses the bridge” as i refer to it.. every day someone becomes free….

Rarely is this work newsworthy but its always rewarding. What never fails to amaze is the human capacity for destruction and at the same time the human capacity for transformation.. What wins every time is that you were born with everything you need except maybe some training in how it works, how it got knotted up, and how it can put itself back where it belongs…
